Description:
The trip was supposed to be simple.
Straight shot to the festival.
Elly had the map, both hands on the wheel, eyes forward. Kayley was already leaning out the window, laughing at nothing, restless, spotting trouble before it even showed up.
When the hitchhiker appeared, Kayley didn’t ask. She just pulled him inside.
Elly kept driving. Jaw tight. Trying to ignore the sounds behind her.
Clothes shifting.
Low breaths.
Kayley whispering something dirty before it turned into soft moans.
The van rocked just enough to feel it.
By the time they were back on the road, Kayley looked wrecked and smiling like it was the best detour of her life.
Then the engine coughed.
Silence.
Middle of nowhere.
No signal. No help. Just a broken camper and a town they didn’t plan on stopping in.
What started as asking for directions turned messy fast.
Wrong turns. Bad choices. More bodies than expected.
All they wanted was out.
The town had other plans.
