It starts off normal. Too normal. Quiet morning, breakfast, nothing really happening… except the looks. The kind you don’t miss if you’re paying attention.
A phone gets left behind. That’s all it takes.
Curiosity kicks in, and yeah… it leads somewhere it probably shouldn’t. By the time the day rolls into evening, things aren’t so quiet anymore. There’s a meetup that was clearly meant to stay private, but it doesn’t.
Awkward doesn’t even cover it. One person freezes, another tries to play it off like nothing’s wrong. And then there’s the one watching it all unfold, not saying much, just taking it in.
Because sometimes knowing what’s really going on? Way more fun than calling it out.
